Our marine plywood stands out for its excellent mechanical and thermal properties. It is desired for its high strength, best resistance and waterproofing. Our marine plywood is made from timber sourced from hardwood trees, as it provides high density and low moisture content. Before manufacturing begins, we test the timber based on various parameters. The veneers of marine plywood have zero knots, no gaps or any voids to prevent the flow of water inside the layers. Phenol formaldehyde- a waterproof adhesive is used to bond the layers of veneer, which prevents penetration of water and delamination. The number of layers of veneer is usually larger in this plywood. The veneers are treated through a special process called vacuum pressure treated (VPT), where preservatives are impregnated deep into the layers of veneer to enhance their resistance to fungi, bacteria and other microorganisms. Our marine plywood is designed and tested to withstand prolonged exposure to water. Hence, these are widely used in boat building, docks and piers, coastal structures, outdoor furniture, decking, pergolas, etc. These are also used in submerged marine structures because of their high-pressure withstanding ability and waterproof nature. These are resistant to termites and borers because of the special chemicals used in the construction process of this plywood. Showing robust strength, these do not show warping or bending despite years of constant load on them.
