Our BWP grade plywood is specifically made to withstand high moisture and water exposure. It has exceptional resistance to warping, swelling and rotting. These are made using high strength, high density hardwood veneer, borer and termite free glues, and waterproof resins. In the manufacturing process, we source the raw materials from trusted vendors and sustainably procure the logs for veneers. These veneers are prepared before, cutting, layering, stacking and hot pressing to create a strong bond. Each stage of production is monitored and quality controlled by our able engineers and managers.
The BWP grade plywood is known for its best resistance to water amongst all the plywood grades, it requires special construction. Hence we use high-density high-strength veneer from trees like oak, birch or maple. The water proof resin used in bonding is fortified phenol formaldehyde synthetic resin, as per IS:848:1974 standards. For protection against rotting chemicals, anti termite and borer chemicals are applied in the glue line area. The result is waterproof plywood which can be used in ship making, boat decks, marine and coastal structures that are exposed to water for a long time. Moreover, the anti termite and borer proof qualities further increase its longevity. Our plywood is extremely uniform with negligible variation in thickness.
